Model Warship Combat Inc (MWCI) is a national club of people who build 1:144 scale radio-controlled (R/C) models of WWI and WWII warships. We outfit them with pumps, install home-made BB cannons in the turrets, and sail out in fleets to do battle, Allied vs. Axis!  The fleets maneuver around each other, firing BB's and poking holes in the other fleet's ships, AND... OH YES! THEY DO SINK! But that is not the end! The ponds we play in are shallow enough to wade out and retrieve the ships. We water-proof the electronics and can patch the holes with small pieces of airplane silk-span. Even sunken ships can be made ready to battle again in only 30 minutes. so who are these guys?! GREY WOLF ATTACK SQUADRON is what we captains in southeast Georgia decided to call ourselves. We are part of the national club, Model Warship Combat (www.modelwarshipcombat.org) and battle regularly with our friends in the Southeast Attack Squadron - MWCI Region 3 (www.mwci.org/chapters/SAS/). We can also be found together almost any weekend there's not a battle in the workshop of one of the local captains working on our ships (we're always trying something new) or helping a new captain build his ship - and anyone interested in seeing more is also always welcome!
